Rave Motorsport's Armstrong Superkart Engine
Rave Motorsport are manufacturers of the Armstrong 250cc Tandem Twin race engine. This engine is being developed for use in Superkart Racing, offering a new, direct & readily available alternative to the Rotax 256 engine. These engines are modern versions of Armstrong's Factory Grand Prix racing motorcycle engines, as last used by the Factory in 1985, although they have been modified and improved for reliability and power delivery.
Armstrongs engines were their own development of the 256 Rotax but features horizontally split crankcases, variable crankshaft set ups and improved barrels and cooling.
The engine in the picture is the 1st of our new engines.
We have been in contact with the British Superkart Association who are kindly helping us to gain homologation with the MSA
