Rave Motorsport specialise in motorcycle clutch plates. We can (usually) provide any clutch plate as either replacement OE quality or improved clutch plates, at an affordable price. We can manufacture friction plates or clutch drive plates in a variety of materials for either road or race use, wet or dry clutch and for vintage or modern bikes. We are leading the way with our high performance racing Aramid clutch plates, which offer reduced weight, improved life with the smoothness of a road clutch.
We have had many years experience working with many different types of clutches and have gained a good deal of design, material, heat treament and conditioning selection knowledge. Therefore we are able to offer a full clutch design and development service for all motorcycle clutches, be it a replica set of plates for a no longer available manufacturer or a bespoke batch for a modern race team.

Our race winning & proven Aramid / Kev friction plates offer weight reduction, improved life, much improved smoothness and reduced wear. Because of the improved coefficient of friction of the unique material, it can also help reduce the spring pressure needed. To put this into simple terms, it can turn a stiff, snatching race clutch into a smooth, almost road bike like clutch.
Here is an example of our own test bed set of Aramid friction plates and steel clutch drive plates that were extensively tested at Silverstone Classic (rider Dean Want) and at the Assen Classic TT (riders Chas Mortimer/Richard Tracy). As you can see there is very little wear on either the friction plate or drive plate.
